Central Bohemian region is the largest region in the Czech Republic and is economically highly interconnected to Prague. Major companies like Škoda Auto, TPCA, Valeo, Amazon, Philip Morris, Procter & Gamble, and Lego have their headquarters or operations in Central Bohemia. The Hradec Králové Region has a high-quality workforce that is based on an industrial tradition. A more pronounced orientation towards light industry has led to the fact that the local industrial base consists mostly of small and medium-sized companies.

Faurecia, DURA Automotive and Linde Pohony are represented here. According to the strategy, the region's priority sectors are biotechnology, engineering, mechatronics and the automotive and textile industries. The region also cooperates with neighboring Austria and Germany in the areas of manufacturing, services and tourism, as well as in technology transfer and education.

Pilsen region has a 150 year long industrial and engineering tradition. Established companies like Škoda Transportation and DOOSAN are successfully manufacturing specialized products such as locomotives, trams, and turbines. It is one of the main focal points on the Czech industrial map. In the city of Pilsen, there is a large industrial zone where leading world companies such as Panasonic, Yazaki, Daikin, Fuji Koyo and ZF are located. Among the most important industries represented in the Plzeň Region are engineering, food, building materials and ceramics, energy production and distribution, and metallurgy.
