The Hradec Králové Region has a high-quality workforce that is based on an industrial tradition. Among the important processing industries are primarily the textile industry, engineering, food and beverage production, metalworking, rubber and plastic industries, and the region is home to companies and enterprises of national significance. A more pronounced orientation towards light industry has led to the fact that the local industrial base consists mostly of small and medium-sized companies.

Karlovy Vary region, geographically on the borders between Bohemia, Bavaria and Saxony is now facing the challenges of transforming its energy sector that heavily depends on coal to environmentaly friendly alternatives. Because of the significant coal related boom, it has one of the key stocks of brownfields suitable for industrial development within the Czech Republic. One of the most recent successful business cases is construction of BMW Group development centre in Sokolov at a site of former mining operations. Besides, the regions is well known for its glass, ceramics, porcelain and other non-metal mineral products manufacturing tradition.

The Liberec region has a predominantly industrial character. The glass and jewelry industry, the production and processing of plastics, engineering and the processing industry with a close connection to the production of automobiles are mainly developed. The traditional textile industry has lost its dominant position as a result of the downturn in recent years. Moravia-Silesia is a dynamically developing region at the borders with Slovakia and Poland. Originally reliant on heavy industry and infamous for the negative effects of that, the region is being transformed into an important technological centre. Digitalization and young technological companies are transitioning the region away from coal and steel towards Industry 4.0. The Moravian-Silesian Region is the fourth largest region in terms of total leasable industrial area and one of the main centers of Czech industry. Industrial zone Mošnov at the Leoš Janáček International Airport Ostrava with direct connection to highway and railway network is a major transport hub thanks to recently built railway container terminal. The site is unique by its’ size in central European scale and maximum handling capacity.

The Olomouc Region is located in the central part of Moravia and extends into its northern part, and is an industrial area with developed services. A number of traditional industrial enterprises operate in the Olomouc region. Agricultural production is followed by a number of food enterprises, other branches of industry include the development of machine production, the industry of optics and electrical equipment, and the production of metalworking and transport means and equipment. Olomouc and nearby Přerov are important railway hubs, the dense railway network runs evenly throughout the entire territory of the region. Worth mentioning is the industrial park in Kojetín built for Amazon, which has been operating a robotic distribution center here since June 2023. The material used for the construction of the center was brought here by railway, which made the construction environmentally friendly.

The South Bohemian Region is traditionally associated mainly with agriculture, but the manufacturing industry is also represented here, specifically the automotive industry and the food industry. Faurecia, DURA Automotive and Linde Pohony are represented here. According to the strategy, the region's priority sectors are biotechnology, engineering, mechatronics and the automotive and textile industries. The region also cooperates with neighboring Austria and Germany in the areas of manufacturing, services and tourism, as well as in technology transfer and education.

Pilsen region has a 150 year long industrial and engineering tradition. Established companies like Škoda Transportation and DOOSAN are successfully manufacturing specialized products such as locomotives, trams, and turbines. It is one of the main focal points on the Czech industrial map. In the city of Pilsen, there is a large industrial zone where leading world companies such as Panasonic, Yazaki, Daikin, Fuji Koyo and ZF are located. Among the most important industries represented in the Plzeň Region are engineering, food, building materials and ceramics, energy production and distribution, and metallurgy.

Located in the centre of the Czech Republic, the Pardubice Region is an attractive region thanks not only to its high degree of safety, housing quality, health and life satisfaction, but also to its long industrial tradition. The dominant role in the region’s economy is played by the manufacturing industry, which is driven by enterprises buttressed by their own research. The region is home to large companies that develop, produce and sell innovative final products and are competitive on the European and global scale, as well as innovation champions among small and medium-sized enterprises with a significant proportion of their own research at the international level, particularly in radio technology, chemistry and biomedicine.

Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is the country's largest city and an important cultural and economic center. It contributes a significant portion of the nation's GDP and boasts a rich historical and architectural heritage. Additionally, the region benefits from a collaborative relationship between universities, scientific centers, entrepreneurs, and public institutions, leading to enhanced competitiveness. It is the third largest region in terms of the number of industrial premises for lease.

Ústí region is a medium size region with strategic location, as it is located on an important traffic artery connecting Prague and Dresden and is adjacent to German Saxony. Ústí region is best known for its heavy industry mainly for mining and chemical industry. There are a large number of industrial zones on the territory of the region. The Triangle Strategic Industrial Zone and the Joseph Strategic Industrial Zone can be considered the largest in terms of area and number of investors. In the territory of the Ústí Region, there are also important deposits of Lithium, which will be key for the development of electromobility.

The Vysočina Region, located in the center of the Czech Republic, has excellent accessibility by road, rail, and proximity to international airports in Prague and Brno. Its well-developed industrial manufacturing sector includes traditional industries like automotive, metalworking, mechanical engineering, wood processing, and furniture, as well as growing sectors such as industrial automation and IT. The region is home to highly innovative companies, competitive on a European and global scale, particularly in electrical engineering and energy industries. The region also hosts numerous research facilities and R&D centers, collaborating with both businesses and educational institutions.

The Zlín Region offers excellent business opportunities. It is well-connected to major development centers such as Prague and Brno through a motorway network. The Zlín Region's economy thrives on innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly in the industrial and export-oriented sectors. The plastics industry, supported by Tomáš Baťa University and its Centre for Polymer Systems, plays a vital role. The aerospace industry, represented by aircraft manufacturers and related technologies, is also significant. There is also a growing presence of creative companies supported by the Zlín Creative Cluster, known for their successful product and technology designs.
