Amsterdam, July 1, 2026 CTP, Europe’s largest developer, owner, and operator of logistics and industrial real estate in terms of gross leasable area (GLA), has expanded CTPark Česká Lípa in the Czech Republic with a new 11,500 m² facility for Sekurit Service, the aftermarket division of Saint-Gobain, a leading global manufacturer of automotive glass. The facility will serve as a strategic European distribution hub, ensuring the supply of replacement glass to Saint-Gobain’s distribution centers across the continent.

The new center plays a key role in the company’s supply chain—it packages finished products and ships them to warehouses across Europe, from where they are distributed to automotive service providers. At the same time, it will shorten delivery times, optimize supply chain management, and increase the efficiency of goods movement between the manufacturing plant and final distribution.

"The new distribution center in Česká Lípa is a strategic step forward in streamlining the supply of auto glass to the European market. We needed capacity that would allow us to consolidate shipments from our manufacturing plants, which are located primarily in Central and Eastern Europe, and distribute them flexibly to individual European countries. CTPark Česká Lípa offers the ideal combination of accessibility, high-quality facilities, and a strategic location within our network of manufacturing plants and distribution warehouses, says Petr Lhoták, CEO of Sekurit Service.

The choice of Česká Lípa reflects its established automotive infrastructure and proximity to key suppliers. The park is located at a strategic intersection of major regional roads leading to Germany and Poland, with direct connections to Dresden, Wrocław, and Liberec, and is less than 40 minutes from Mladá Boleslav, the headquarters of Škoda Auto. The region also has a strong base of skilled labor that supports logistics and manufacturing operations.

CTPark Česká Lípa, home to a number of automotive tenants, currently spans 38,000 m² with capacity for further expansion.

"Česká Lípa is a natural hub for automotive logistics in northern Bohemia. Its strategic location between Germany and Poland, proximity to automotive plants, and strong transportation links make the park an ideal location for distribution operations serving European markets. The arrival of Saint-Gobain Sekurit confirms that CTPark Česká Lípa is a major logistics hub for companies that need to quickly and reliably supply several neighboring countries simultaneously, explains Michal Příb, senior business developer at CTP in the Czech Republic.

Under the Sekurit brand, Saint-Gobain specializes in the production of safety glass for the automotive industry, with manufacturing plants throughout Europe, including one of its largest plants in Hořovice, Czech Republic. Sekurit Service, a specialized aftermarket distributor of Sekurit automotive glass, supplies these products to authorized distributors and auto service centers for replacements and spare parts. Saint-Gobain’s portfolio includes heated and anti-glare glass, glass for head-up displays, heat-reflective glass, and glass with special acoustic coatings, as well as panoramic sunroofs.

"Efficient logistics is an increasingly important factor in the automotive sector and other industries. Delivery speed is just as important to customers today as the quality of the products themselves. The new center will provide us with the tools to improve our response to these demands, taking us beyond our already flawless standards, adds Lhoták.
