Leading logistics company extends long-term cooperation with Prologis in Rudná park

Prologis has entered into a new lease agreement with a leading global logistics company for 11,000 m² of space at Prologis Park Prague-Rudná. The contract strengthens the long-term partnership between the two companies. The conclusion of this agreement brings Prologis Park Prague-Rudná to near full occupancy, which only confirms the long-standing high demand for this premium location on the outskirts of Prague with excellent transport accessibility and direct connection to the D5 motorway. The 237,000 m² park in Rudná is one of the largest Prologis parks in the Czech Republic. Currently 98.5% of the warehouse space is leased, with only a few smaller units remaining vacant.
In addition to Rudná, the world's leading provider of transport and logistics services also leases space at Prologis Park Prague-Airport and parks in Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. "Our partnership is built on shared goals and ambitions in the form of a commitment to efficiency, sustainability and strategic growth. We greatly appreciate the trust that this global player places in us," says Martin Balaz, SVP and Head of Asset Management at Prologis Central Europe. The near full occupancy of the park underlines its position as a preferred location for leading international logistics companies.
Since acquiring the park in 2014, Prologis has invested more than CZK 750 million in its modernisation and improvements. This investment has transformed the site into a leading logistics centre equipped with modern LED lighting systems, energy-efficient heating systems, new roofs with improved insulation and enhanced security features. In addition, a smart metering system was introduced to optimise energy consumption.
"We are extremely proud of the transformation of Prologis Park Prague-Rudná over the past decade. Thanks to targeted investments and the excellent work of our team, the park has become one of the most sought-after logistics locations on the outskirts of Prague - offering not only quality space, but also improved infrastructure for customers and the local community. From warehouse upgrades to improved public transport accessibility, every detail reflects our commitment to long-term value creation and growth. We will continue to invest across the parks to support the growth of our customers and the regions in which we operate," says Martin Balazs.
The strategic location with a direct connection to exit 5 of the D5 motorway and a distance of just 20 kilometres from the centre of Prague and 12 kilometres from Václav Havel Airport allows for efficient national and international distribution. In addition, the park benefits from the on-site presence of a dedicated Property Management team and convenient accessibility by public transport, further enhancing its attractiveness and value.
