Central Bohemian region is the largest region in the Czech Republic and is economically highly interconnected to Prague. Major companies like Škoda Auto, TPCA, Valeo, Amazon, Philip Morris, Procter & Gamble, and Lego have their headquarters or operations in Central Bohemia. The region aims to be a leader in technology and innovation, attracting investments in science and research. The Hradec Králové Region has a high-quality workforce that is based on an industrial tradition. Among the important processing industries are primarily the textile industry, engineering, food and beverage production, metalworking, rubber and plastic industries, and the region is home to companies and enterprises of national significance. A more pronounced orientation towards light industry has led to the fact that the local industrial base consists mostly of small and medium-sized companies.

Established companies like Škoda Transportation and DOOSAN are successfully manufacturing specialized products such as locomotives, trams, and turbines. It is one of the main focal points on the Czech industrial map. In the city of Pilsen, there is a large industrial zone where leading world companies such as Panasonic, Yazaki, Daikin, Fuji Koyo and ZF are located. Among the most important industries represented in the Plzeň Region are engineering, food, building materials and ceramics, energy production and distribution, and metallurgy.

Located in the centre of the Czech Republic, the Pardubice Region is an attractive region thanks not only to its high degree of safety, housing quality, health and life satisfaction, but also to its long industrial tradition.
